How does it work? Ferrer Skin Rejuvenation Treatment
It works like a Surgery, without sinus, scars, collateral damage, or medications, in which microfocused ultrasound energy is used to target the deep layers of the skin, causing mini internal injuries, which are not visible to the human eye, promoting collagen regeneration and improving skin elasticity and firmness. Acne Treatment
High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment is primarily used to tighten and firm the skin, and scars but research suggests it may also be beneficial in reducing acne. One study found that micro-focused ultrasound with visualization can induce cell damage and volume reduction in the treated area, which may help reduce acne.
The treatment works by delivering noninvasive focused ultrasound energy that causes zones of microcoagulation from the deep dermis to the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS). This process tightens the skin by contracting and remodeling collagen¹.
While micro-focused ultrasound with visualization is not a traditional acne treatment, it can be used in conjunction with other treatments to help reduce acne and improve skin texture.
